The P-Box in rebuilds
The P-Box may also be used for renovations.
New conduits normally do not run exactly at the same places than the
old ones. The combination of old and new wall bushings often creates
unnecessary large recesses.
These recesses often make it difficult to assemble pre-assembled elements,
as their legs and supports often fall on these recesses.
The P-Box does not generate this type of problems. After having removed
the old conduits, the new pipe linings can be fixed and the recesses
are ready for filling.
The sanitary fitter can then place the pre-assembled elements in their
final position and fix their legs and supports. Besides this, one
may mention, that patching the recesses is often very difficult
without a P-Box.
